Government of Rajasthan in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) successfully hosted Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet “GRAM” in 2016 at Jaipur, Rajasthan. GRAM was the single largest agriculture meet in the country that attracted participation of 54500 farmers, 18900 visitors, International Delegations from 6 countries, 10 International experts and over 200 corporates. As a next step to spur the momentum created, FICCI and Government of Rajasthan looks forward to replicate GRAM’s accomplishment in agriculturally significant districts of Rajasthan.
Kota is one of the major agriculture production and trading hubs of Rajasthan. Recognizing the enormous potential of Kota in terms of availability of water, production of oilseeds, spices, medicinal crops, citrus and that the same can deliver rich dividends to farmers through value addition, Government of Rajasthan looks forward to replicate GRAM’s accomplishment in Kota, Rajasthan. Accordingly, GRAM KOTA is being organized from 17th to 19th May 2017 at RAC Ground, Shivpuri, Kota, Rajasthan.
One of the core objectives of GRAM Kota would be to expose the farmers of the Kota Division to best agriculture practices and define the next qualitative leap in Kota’s agriculture growth story.
The event will bring all stakeholders- farmers from in and around Kota, academicians, technologists, agribusiness companies and policy makers – to accelerate development of sustainable agricultural and allied activities through innovative methods and best practices.
